Jinan SAF AL-KO Axle Co., Ltd. (used name: Jinan SAF Axle Co., Ltd) is established in 1994 by two well known German companies, SAF (SAF-Holland GmbH) and AL-KO (AL-KO KOBER AG), and is the first subsidiary invested by the two companies in China. It locates in the high and new technology development zone of Jinan, occupying 20 000 square meters, with its registered capital 6.69 million USD and gross investment 8.2 million USD. All technology, equipments are introduced from Germany. We can manufacture chassis of light trailers and heavy trailer axles in all tonnages. The yearly capacity is 12 000 axles and 1 000 light trailer chassis, and the annual value of production is 100 million RMB.
In 2004, SAF and AL-KO invested another subsidiary company in China-- Yantai SAF AL-KO Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. With area of 60 000 square meters, it lies in the center of Laishan development zone, Yantai, a beautiful seaside city. SAF and AL-KO invested totally 15 million USD in it, and the registered capital is up to 8.2 million USD. The new company can manufactures 20 000 axles and 3 000 light trailer chassis. The annual proceeds of sale could be 150 million RMB. Comparing with Jinan SAF AL-KO Axle Co., Ltd, the new company increases and improves at points of investment amount, range of products, and production capacity, and the administrating mode is also highly upgraded. Due to the more advanced manufacture technology, our marked will be enlarged greatly.
